Deep in Thought

Deep in Thought

That moment of swimming under the water, kicking off the wall and floating back to the surface. It's finding a rare moment of peace and calm in an otherwise chaotic world. For at least one brief moment, it's just you, free from all distractions and responsibilities, taking that quiet moment to yourself.

This piece is inspired by finding the joy in swimming while on my maternity leave with my second baby. On the days she transitioned to creche while i prepared to go back to work, I would take 30 mins to switch off and just swim.
